Walking in a Winter Wonderland

So...I took pictures of the....

SNOW!!!

I started this new blog, just to accommodate the pictures and not just flood my normal one. This won't have anymore posts after I completely finish posting all my pictures. Keep in mind...I LOVE SNOW!!! ::jumps up and down happily:: So there are quite a LOT of them.

I'm basing my stuff on the Tulsa area, just fyi. We ended up with about 10.4 Inches of snow after it was all said and done in Tulsa. We broke the month, day, and year records with one day of snow.
Okay, to start with, It came in two rounds, and it started with just freezing rain and sleet. Here are two pictures of JUST the ice after the first round at 7:30 a.m.

The other Picture I took of round one was of the steps in front of our apartment, I will go ahead and post the stages together.
Here is stage one: This is at 6:47 a.m., after Roger left for work, and is just Ice/sleet

I decided to suit up and take a walk at about 8:30-9 p.m. Here are some pictures of that little walk. I just walked to the end of our parking lot. These pictures are NOT blurry, it's just snowing that heavily.

And here are three videos I took on my walk. These videos are harder to see the snow than my actual videos. For some reason, photobucket stretched them out, but I dont' know how to fix that.
First one I took just outside our front door, before I actually went out.
See it here
These two I took of the actual snow coming down.

There are several pictures with Christmas lights either lit up, or just in the way, so I thought I would take two pictures of the lights I put up.
This was taken from the inside looking out:

I took these three pictures this morning while Roger was clearing off his truck at about 5 a.m. Friday morning.

I decided to take a walk this morning between 9-10 a.m. and took the last set of pictures for Tulsa.
Here are two pictures I took to try and determine the depth.
This one is one leg, and the snow goes up to my shin, just below my knee:

This one is both legs. The line of blue is the bottom of my sweater, the sun is shining on just about where my knees are, and again, the snow is almost up to my knees:

On my walk I took six more pictures, and I walked to the mailbox this time. That's about 2 blocks or so from our apartment.

This one is in front of our apartment:
